Booking Policy
La Mar 2.0 Booking Policy
1. Purpose and Scope
This policy is designed to ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all participants engaging in water sports and boating activities with La Mar 2.0. It applies to all users, including members, guests, and staff. Compliance with this policy is mandatory for participation in any water sports or charter activities.
2. General Safety Requirements
All participants must follow staff instructions and safety protocols at all times. Failure to do so may result in immediate removal from the activity without refund.
Life jackets or personal flotation devices (PFDs) must be worn at all times while on or near the water.
Safety equipment, including helmets, harnesses, and rescue gear, must be used as required for specific activities.
All equipment, including boats, boards, and paddles, must be inspected by staff before each use to ensure safe operation.
3. Participant Responsibilities
Health & Fitness: Participants must be in good health and free of any medical conditions that may impair their ability to engage safely in water sports.
Alcohol & Drugs: The use of alcohol or recreational drugs before or during activities is strictly prohibited. Any participant found under the influence will be immediately disqualified from participating and may be banned from future activities.
Competency: Participants must honestly declare their level of experience in water sports. Only those with verified training or experience will be allowed to participate in advanced activities.
Supervision of Minors: Parents or legal guardians must supervise any minors participating in activities and are responsible for ensuring compliance with this policy.
4. Weather and Environmental Conditions
Activities will only take place under safe weather conditions. Staff reserve the right to cancel or delay activities due to adverse weather or water conditions, including high winds, heavy rain, and rough waters.
In the event of sudden weather changes, participants must immediately return to shore or a designated safe area as directed by staff.
5. Incident Response and Emergency Procedures
Injury: In the case of injury, staff will provide first aid and arrange for emergency medical services if needed. All injuries, regardless of severity, must be reported to staff immediately.
Fatalities or Serious Incidents: In the unfortunate event of a fatality or serious incident, activities will be immediately suspended, and emergency services will be contacted.
6. Booking and Cancellation Policy
Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled activity. Failure to do so will incur a €50 fine.
Charter Return: All charters must be returned before 8 PM with the same fuel level as when the charter began. Participants are responsible for any damages incurred during the charter.
Damage and Liability: Participants relinquish any rights to claim against La Mar 2.0 for personal injury to themselves or others during any activities.
